This is a variant of Amazon Prime targeted exclusively for students in full-time higher education, as the name implies. Students will be able to use the Prime Video, Prime Music, and Prime Reading services for a reduced monthly charge of £3.99/$6.49 per month. They also get fast and free delivery on anything tagged with the Prime logo in the Amazon shop, 10% off textbooks, photo space on Amazon Drive, and instant access to lightning specials.
Students in the United States have even more incentives, such as Twitch TV membership, Prime Gaming, and the opportunity to rent textbooks.
Free one-day shipping on millions of goods is included with Amazon Prime Student (one-day delivery for UK students, limitless two-day delivery for Republic of Ireland students). Members also gain access to premium material such as music, movies, and TV shows, as well as exclusive deals.
To sign up for Amazon Prime Student, you must first have an Amazon account or create one. The sign-up process will require a genuine university email address that will be confirmed (ends with “ac.uk” within UK or “.edu” in the US). The registration procedure will also ask for your estimated graduation year or payment method (credit or debit).

When prompted, log into your account. After that, look for Prime Student. There should be a Try Prime Student option on the page. Choose this option, then type in your academic email address and the year you plan to graduate. When you finish your studies, Amazon will transition your Prime Student account to a regular Prime account.
The Start Trial button should now appear. Microsoft has sponsored new student accounts at the time of writing, so they wouldn’t have to pay for the first six months of membership.
The trial edition is only available for 30 days with a normal Prime membership.
If you chose to continue your Prime Student membership after six months, you will only pay £39/$59 per year, and £3.99/$6.49 per month, which is half the price of a regular Prime subscription.
