New iPhone 12 Pro – The Most Premium Feeling Piece!

Share

The recently launched New iPhone 12 Pro is one of the best in the race.

It will be not wrong if said that September is the most awaited month for iPhone lovers. As most of the new iPhone’s are launched during or later September every year. But it always manage to keep the suspense till date. Now, as September has pass by Apple launched New iPhone 12 Pro with the launch of iPhone 12. A new era for Apple user’s with the introduction of 5G.

5G goes Pro. A14 Bionic rockets past every other smartphone chip.

The Pro camera system takes low-light photography to the next level — with an even bigger jump on iPhone 12 Pro Max. And Ceramic Shield delivers four times better drop performance.

The iPhone 12 Pro is the most feature-rich iPhone you can buy right now. It has the greatest of all of Apple’s features inside. In addition certainly the model to consider if you’re questioning whether the iPhone 12 has enough raw power for you.

It features a 6.1-inch display and starts at a price of $1,000, and arrives in Apple’s three signature colors: silver, graphite, and gold, as well as a fourth, brand new color option, a blue model. Also, storage for the base model is 128GB, and you can also buy 256GB and 512GB versions. With the addition of 5G this year. Although, they clearly know that it needed to bring the super-fast connectivity standard to the non-Android masses. In addition, by including it in every new iPhone, it’s given the still relatively new tech a big shot in the arm.

Release Date and Price

iPhone 12 pro announced on October 13,2020 alongside the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 Pro release date was October 23, meaning you can get your hands on it now. You’ll be able to get your hands on this phone before the Pro Max, which isn’t out until November 13.

The iPhone 12 Pro price starts at $999 / £999 / AU$1,699 for the 128GB model – that’s an improved minimum storage offering over both the iPhone 11 Pro and the base model of the new iPhone 12 – with the price rising to $1,099 / £1,099 / AU$1,869 for 256GB, and $1,299 / £1,299 / AU$2,219 for 512GB.

Models and Size Options and Storage

Apple offers four iPhones in three different sizes, but the sizes are said to be changing in 2020. So far, a 5.4-inch iPhone, a 6.7-inch iPhone, and two 6.1-inch iPhones. 5.4 inches is smaller than the current iPhone 11 Pro. While 6.7 inches is bigger than the current iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The 5.4-inch device is close to identical in size to the iPhone 8. One 6.1-inch model and the 6.7-inch model will be higher-end iPhones. While the other 6.1-inch iPhone and the 5.4-inch iPhone will be lower-end models and successors to the iPhone 11. The higher-end iPhones will feature newer camera systems with triple-lens setups, while the lower-end iPhones will feature dual-lens camera setups.

Design

The iPhone 12 Pro design is different from last year’s iPhone 11 Pro. Like all the handsets in the iPhone 12 range, it has flat sides with sharp, 90-degree edges. Actually, the iPhone 12 Pro looks similar in size to 2019’s Pro.

In addition, the Ceramic Shield on the front, which replaces the glass from the iPhone 11. , Apple has worked with Corning to create a structure that it says isn’t actually glass, but rather a ‘nano-crystalline’ structure that has four times the strength of last year’s screen, so it should be harder to break your new iPhone.

And while the rear of the iPhone 12 Pro is still the same glass as used in 2019, the new edge design will apparently make it twice as resilient as its predecessor in the event of a drop. Apple isn’t calling these iPhones unbreakable – it’s just saying they’re more robust. If the iPhone 12 Pro lands at the wrong angle after a slip or a drop, it can still break.

So if you’re thinking that you can do without a case and / or a screen protector, think again – the new iPhone 12 Pro screen can still be scratched by sharp objects, or the glass broken, even if it has a far greater degree of protection (especially on the front screen and with greater water resistance than ever before) than the iPhone 11 range.

The edges are flatter than before one other big pieces of news here is the omission of a charging block and EarPods from the box.

Apple is looking forward to make a huge environment impact and their thought is  there’s no need to include a charger because everyone already has one lying around.

So, if your Lightning cable is still functioning fine, then you’ve got nothing to worry about. By contrast if you need a new Lightning cable and were waiting to get a new iPhone to get one, or if this is your first iPhone, you’ll need to buy a new charging block, as the cable in the 12 Pro box is USB-C to Lightning, which is a newer type of connection, and relatively few people are currently likely to have a charger with a USB-C port.

Display

Essentially iPhone 12 Pro has the same OLED screen technology as last year. The big change is to the screen size, which increases from 5.8-inch to 6.1-inch without adding to the size of the iPhone 12 Pro’s chassis compared to last year’s model. Surprisingly, it’s now the same size as the display on the iPhone 12.

With OLED technology used here you’re getting one of the best screens around; it’s able to display deep blacks, vivid whites and a vast range of colors, especially when you’re viewing HDR footage.

iPhone 12 Pro display is one of the best out there, whether you’re looking at high-quality photography from Instagram or just want to enjoy your home movies, which can be captured in the high-end Dolby Vision format in 4K, at a buttery-smooth 60 frames per second.

It would have been nice to see 120Hz display technology debut on an iPhone with the Pro and Pro Max. This higher refresh rate makes scrolling around your phone look and feel much more fluid, and considering that a lot of top-end Android phones now have this feature it’s a shame that it’s missing from Apple’s top models in 2020.

It has an infinity pool of pixels, i.e Super Retina XDR Display. A new design with flat edges and our flexible custom OLED allowed us to push the screen’s amazing color, brightness, and contrast right to the very edge. Up to1,200 nits peak brightness for
HDR photos and movies

iPhone 12 Pro – A Water-Resistant

The iPhone 12 Pro as well as the iPhone 12 Pro Max are waterproof. Similar to the iPhone 12 series, the Pro models have rated IP68 and a maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes under IEC standard 60529. Plus, if you take your iPhone 12 to the swimming pool with you or to the beach. The sand won’t end into it, thanks to the ‘6’ particulate rating, and it can survive water up to 6 meters for 30 minutes, courtesy of the ‘8’ liquid rating. Also, be aware, to not exceed the 30 minutes mark or the 6 meters depth.

iPhone 12 Pro Power and Battery

The New iPhone 12 pro video playback lasts up to 17 hours. Plus, its video playback(streamed) is up to 11 hours. Also, audio playback is up to 65 hours, that is pretty much more isn’t it?

  • Built‑in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery
  • MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W
  • Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W
  • Charging via USB to a computer system or power adapter
  • Fast-charge capable:
Up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes with 20W adapter or higher (sold separately)

iPhone 12 Pro Camera

Also, this iPhone 12 Pro render highlights the premium variant’s slimmer bezels and notch, as well as its rumored quad-lens camera.

Pro camera system

A new day for Night mode. It comes to both the Wide and Ultra Wide cameras, and it’s better than ever at capturing incredible low-light shots. LiDAR makes Night mode portraits possible. And the Wide camera lets in 27% more light, for greater detail and sharper focus day or night.

  • Wide camera with ƒ/1.6 aperture captures 27% more light
  • New 7‑element Wide lens for edge‑to‑edge sharpness
  • New OIS makes 5,000 adjustments per second
  • LiDAR delivers up to 6x faster autofocus in low light

Cameras Maximus.

The bigger iPhone maxes out the Pro camera system. A 47% larger sensor and larger pixels dramatically increase the amount of light gathered on the Wide camera. Also, a new OIS stabilizes the sensor instead of the lens so your shots are steady — even when you’re not. And the new 65-millimeter Telephoto camera lets you zoom in tighter on portraits.

  • 87% better low‑light photos
  • 5x optical zoom range
  • Bigger 1.7 μm pixels
  • New sensor-shift optical image stabilisation

The above image shows what the iPhone 12 Pro could look like with the flat edges, a smaller notch.

In addition, a fourth “camera,” which would presumably be a LiDAR sensor. The camera may be one area where the new iPhone excels. Moreover, the main change is likely to be the addition of a LiDAR scanner, just like we’ve seen on the iPad Pro 2020. It can accurately judge distances and therefore depth and would allow for improved augmented reality and Portrait mode. We’ve heard specific mentions of a LiDAR scanner being included on the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max (alongside three lenses).

The basic iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max are said to have two camera lenses and no LiDAR scanner.

These claims have been made by multiple sources, and the below image shows how it could look on the iPhone 12 Pro. And, of course, the iPad Pro 2020 released earlier this year includes a LiDAR scanner, signaling Apple’s plans for the iPhone 12.

The primary wide camera on the iPhone 12 has been upgraded for better low-light performance – thanks to a wider f/1.6 aperture it does make the average indoor photo at night that little bit brighter, as well as giving the Night Mode function a brighter start image to work from.

Night Mode has been extended to the front camera too, so you can capture better-looking selfies in darker conditions. Also, you can use portrait mode in the dark, with the Retina Flash (where the screen illuminates to brighten your face) slowly dimming to capture the moment.

This is one area where the iPhone 12 Pro has a clear advantage over the iPhone 12: the additional LiDAR sensor allows you to take clear, in-focus Night Mode portraits, where the iPhone 12 simply can’t take in enough light to apply accurate background blur effects.

Plus, a reputable leaker says he has heard that the iPhone 12 Pro features Smart HDR 3 functionality for improved low-light performance. That’s alongside a 2.5x optical zoom, which is an increase from the 2x zoom capability featured in the iPhone 11 range.

Also, Bigger pixels on the Wide camera help reveal intricate patterns, subtle textures, and incredible detail throughout the shot. Also when you’re shooting in available light.

It jumps from 8- to 10‑bit HDR recording, capturing 700 million colors for much more lifelike video. Further, it goes one better, recording in Dolby Vision — the format used by film studios. You can even edit Dolby Vision video and use AirPlay to see every last bit of the difference on the big screen.

The Wide camera’s larger sensor brings far more detail out of the shadows. And for the first time, you can take Night mode Time‑lapse videos with a tripod to capture scenes with dramatic motion. Now even your movies can pull an all-nighter.

Also it has TrueDepth Camera, so now it’s never too late to take a night mode selfie. Night mode comes to the front camera, bringing all that low-light detail and natural colour to your favourite subject. Deep Fusion, Smart HDR 3 and Dolby Vision recording are now on the TrueDepth camera too. So you’ll look your best in any light.

MagSafe

MagSafe a new applw invention,  a set of magnets under the casing on the back of the iPhone 12 Pro. It works a little differently, ensuring a very firm hold when you snap on an accessory. Currently, these accessories are limited to cases, a charger and a wallet add-on. MagSafe accessories can also communicate what they actually are to your iPhone, which has a number of benefits.

Many smartphone fans will remember the magnetic accessories for the Essential Phone, or the snap-on Moto Mods range. These were the trail-blazers for clip-on accessories. Especially in the case of the Moto Mods, which have now been discontinued, and can be found on sale on Motorola’s website. But, as with 5G, this feels like a feature for the future, rather than one to be excited about right now.

Currently, buying an iPhone 12 Pro so that you can enjoy the benefits of MagSafe will only make sense if you also invest in a wireless charger.

It costs $39 / £59 / AU$89, and one of the newer (and slightly more expensive) cases that have a MagSafe ‘passthrough’ so you can leave the cover on and still wirelessly charge.

Using MagSafe is really cool when you feel the charger snap into place – it’s like lobbing the Apple Watch 6 onto its charging pad, but with much stronger magnets. But we’d recommend waiting a while to see what new accessories appear – if the ecosystem really flourishes, it’ll become a great reason to make the upgrade.

iPhone 12 Pro and its Colors

For 2020, Apple has introduced new iPhone 12 Pro colors for its Pro handsets. The iPhone 12 Pro series includes a Pacific Blue finish for the first time. Because it’s oh-so-new, it’s our favorite pick and joins traditional powerhouses Graphite, Silver, and Gold in the collection.

It’s not very often when Apple offers a new finish for its top-tier iPhones. We’ve been living with three colors — Silver, Gold, and some dark black variation — for years. This year, we got lucky with Apple’s introduction of the Pacific Blue model for the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Slightly different than the Blue iPhone 12 that is also making a debut. This model should look great on your next power walk or social distancing trip to the office.

Pacific Blue is a new iPhone color, and for a lot of us, that’s all we need to know. Although, it doesn’t even matter whether we actually like the color or not. But don’t worry, it’s nothing wild. It’s an understated darker shade of blue.

A14 Bionic Chip

Moreover, the only thing ever close was their last chip. A14 Bionic is the first 5-nanometre chip in the industry, with advanced components literally atoms wide. Also, forty percent more transistors rev up speeds while increasing efficiency for great battery life. And a new ISP powers Dolby Vision recording — something no pro movie camera, let alone any other phone, can do.

RAM

Also, many analysts believe the iPhone 12 Pro models will feature 6GB RAM, while the iPhone 12 will have 4GB RAM.UBS analysts also believe the four iPhones in development will feature varying amounts of RAM. They’re expecting a 6.7-inch iPhone with 6GB RAM, a 6.1-inch iPhone with 6GB RAM, a 6.1-inch iPhone with 4GB RAM, and a 5.4-inch iPhone with 4GB RAM.

No EarPods

Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro models do not come with the wired EarPods included in the box, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo says that Apple may leave out the EarPods to drive demand for its AirPods. To promote the AirPods to iPhone users, Apple may offer some kind of AirPods promotion in late 2020. Perhaps offering a discount to customers who purchase a new iPhone.

WiFi

Also, apple’s 2020 iPhones could instead support a new Wi-Fi standard known as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, hotspot, which quadruples the bandwidth and adds up to four streams of multiple transmission/reception. The WiFi spec uses the 60GHz spectrum and is expected to be finalized by the end of 2020.

iPhone 12 Pro and 5G

Talking about the recent introduction of 5G, fairly speeking it is kind of tricky to review about it. As not everybody will agree that it is a great use of introduction.

In 2020, Apple plans to transition back to Qualcomm modem chips instead of Intel chips, using Qualcomm’s 5G technology in its iPhones. All of the iPhones expected in 2020 will use 5G technology, according to an Apple analyst All four iPhones will feature Qualcomm’s X55 5G modem chip.

Moreover, the X55 chip offers 7Gb/s peak download speeds and 3Gb/s upload speeds, though these numbers are theoretical maximums and actual speeds will depend on the carrier network. The chip is Qualcomm’s first 5G chip that supports all major frequency bands, operation modes, and network deployments.

Although, 5G technology is still in the early stages of rolling out. But by the time Apple releases its new iPhones, the major carriers in the United States will have laid the groundwork for connectivity in most areas.

Apple and Qualcomm are working together to get Qualcomm’s 5G technology into an IP hone as quickly as possible.

Moreover, apple usually secures finalized modem hardware 18 months before the launch of a new iPhone. Although, they may be planning to use Qualcomm’s modems but not Qualcomm’s RF front-end components due to time constraints. Therefore, it could potentially impact maximum wireless speeds, though we’ll need to see how Apple’s implementation plays out to know for sure.

Not only, with buying iPhone 12 series you will get the 5G connectivity, but also, with any iPhone range you are getting as standard, and that’s an excellent thing. With the new 5G, downloading a 110MB audiobook took us just 30 seconds, and where our 4G phone couldn’t connect to Spotify thanks to network congestion in the middle of a city. Plus, we were able to instantly connect and start streaming over 5G on the iPhone 12 Pro.

Closure

In conclusion, the iPhone 12 Pro is a tough sell over the main iPhone 12. Moreover, the phones look identical, and a glance at the spec sheet shows them to be similar on the inside too. Also, there are some key areas that impressed us more: the iPhone 12 Pro colors are lovely to look at, with the Pacific Blue one of the nicer shades we’ve seen on a phone.

Moreover, the LiDAR scanner, while still in its infancy as a technology for an iPhone, is already proving to be helpful when shooting in low light, and there’s that issue of storage too – starting at 128GB is far more palatable than 64GB for the modern smartphone user.

For instance ,if you’re thinking you’ll need that extra bit of RAM, or just want to make sure you’ve got one of the best phones Apple has put out, then you may well feel it’s worth paying that bit extra. Lastly, there is also the small matter of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, with its (likely) longer battery life and better camera sensor to think about.
