Apple Airpods Pro 2 was launched at the same price as its predecessor Apple Airpods Pro (2019). The new Airpods Pro 2 comes with significant upgrades at the same price. Talking Active Noise Cancellation, Apple has done an excellent job in the sound category. With Active Noise Cancellation turned on, the AirPods Pro 2nd generation dynamically adapts your surround sound. With the help of their new H2 chipset, it amplifies your music to offer you clutter-free music and sound experience. Apple also claims that the H2 chip allows it to provide ‘Adaptive Transparency automatically.’ So, if you’re strolling down the street with Transparency and a car with a noise siren passes by, the AirPods Pro will automatically adjust the sound without eliminating it. These intelligent features help users to protect their ears from the harm of environmental sounds. However, despite the rumors, AirPods Pro 2nd generation doesn’t offer lossless audio.
The most considerable improvement till now in the AirPods Pro 2nd generation is with the Battery Life. This is possible due to the new H2 chip introduced by Apple. The AirPods Pro 2nd generation can hold up to six hours on a single charge with Active Noise Cancellation. However, turning off the extra features like Active Noise Cancellation & Spatial audio can offer up to seven hours of battery life. As Apple claims, the charging case can charge up your earbuds five times off a single charge. This adds up to 30 hours of battery life with the case with Active Noise Cancellation turned on. These are significant improvements in contrast to the last gen AirPods Pro battery life.
Now, users can boost the charging performance of the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds with their Apple Watch Charger. We found in our Airpods 2 review, that this is excellent news for users who have an Apple Watch and don’t need to worry about a separate charging dock for their AirPods Pro 2.
