The Apple Pencil 1 can’t be plugged into the iPad Air 4’s base without a USB-C to Lightning adaptor. Thus, it’s not a good fit for the iPad Air 4.
The iPad Air 4 supports the Magic Keyboard, typing on this iPad is just as simple as it is on the iPad Pro. Magic Keyboard’s keys provide a significantly more comfortable typing experience thanks to enhanced vertical travel. This is a movement that makes them feel like you’re typing on an actual keyboard and the lack of clicking the iPad Smart Keyboard Folio’s little sensors. Moreover, it also wins because it features a touchpad, something the Smart Keyboard has always lacked. Regrettably, the Magic Keyboard is overpriced at $300.
