Our Anycubic Kobra Review, When we are talking about 3D Printers one of the most important things that come to my mind is how to operate? How to Print? and What kind of software do we need to run this giant?
Before you buy this printer, you might want to know if you’re in the target market. If you have a little bit of background, then you should be fine. If you don’t, then this will be a very good starting point.
3D printer by definition looks hard to set up, tweaking or setup looks like a tough job, But this is not always the case. This printer is somewhere between the beginner and advanced levels. A basic printer like Creality is cheap but it needs a lot of trial and error to get the results you want. A full fledge printer like Zortrax has good results but will cost you more than $1500.
Anycubic Kobra is around $299 on Anycubic.
This printer prints so good it’s hard to believe it’s the same machine as the others. My printer has been reliable and perfectly fine every single time. This speaks for itself.

Some of the exciting features include automatic bed leveling (3D Touch !) to give you a background, It is vital to adjust the bed before you start printing if you don’t have this feature.
The Anycubic Kobra ships in a semi-assembled state and doesn’t require any soldering or complex mechanical assembly to put together. Thus provides a beginner-friendly assembly experience.
The extruder pushes the filament directly into the nozzle with a direct drive setup, resulting in fewer extrusion-related issues. Because the extruder is close to the nozzle, it can more easily retract filament. With the short distance between the extruder and the nozzle, you will require less torque from the motor to push the filament. Besides, a direct drive extruder is generally more compatible with a broader range of filaments, especially the case with flexible and abrasive materials.
The user interface on the Anycubic Kobra is a 4.3-inch color touchscreen LCD mounted on the right side of the machine. This location means that it can easily access during printing, and the moving bed of the printer does not cover it. Besides, the matte finish on the Kobra’s LCD also makes the screen look very responsive and professional. The backlit LCD is also easily readable.
Unlike other auto-bed leveling sensors, inductive sensors are more precise and consistent, with a lower standard deviation. Besides, inductive sensors are more reliable than their mechanical and optical counterparts.
The build surface on the Anycubic Kobra is a textured flexible spring steel sheet held in place by a magnetic base on the build platform. This sheet is fragile and loose, measuring at an average thickness of .51mm. So you could easily remove parts from this style of the build platform. In addition, the textured surface locks parts down during printing when hot, and after cooling, they slide right off with no tools required.
Touch Screen: Kobra has an Amazing touch screen that most 3D Printers don’t have ( For Real ! ) Very smooth to touch and feels good to touch. It’s a color screen if that’s what you are looking for. In our Anycubic Kobra review, we notice this is one of the best advantages and features over other 3D printers.
As you can see in the below picture the printer is quite compact however don’t get me wrong as its capable enough to print 220 x 220 x 250mm. So you can virtually print quite large objects and it can accommodate around 90% of your daily household needs.(Needless to say that it will keep your spouse happy for a couple of days if not months)
Anycubic Kobra includes an SD card and has a preloaded image as I discussed earlier and you can see how I managed to print it ( I am no Techy! ) So I would like to clarify that Anycubic did provide us with consumables and we have used that for all our works.
As You can see in the above picture, Kobra managed to print the Owl (it’s not Scifi ! ) without any noticeable waste around it and it was quick and precise. You can have PLA in many different colors and materials so don’t worry about the trial one you receive. It took some time to print this beautiful piece. The model felt strong and well-made, I have not done any optimization whatsoever but the clarity and finishing are second to none. Print is consistent all over and you can see the exact small dots that you have found in the software. so it does it really well.
I was impressed with the build quality, speed, accuracy, and features of Kobra. I can say this with very confidence that this will make one of the top 3d Printers in today’s time. Anycubic has done a fantastic job when it comes to first-time installation, we can get this up and running in no time ( You still need to spend some time! ) Anycubic Kobra will be officially launching for sale on March 28, 2022. I believe the pricing for the first few sales will be really low and you can grab the deal however as they will reach their target they will be increasing the price for sure.
