Powered by Apple’s audio-specific H2 chip, the AirPods Max 2 are available for pre-order from March 25 and will be available in an array of colors: midnight, starlight, orange, purple, and blue. The official release is scheduled for early next month.

Apple has made bold claims about the improved features of the AirPods Max 2. The company asserts that the active noise cancellation (ANC) on these earbuds is up to 1.5 times more effective than their predecessor. The AirPods Max 2 also include Live Translation, a feature that facilitates communication in multiple languages in person. The headphones also boast voice isolation, which uses advanced computer audio to prioritize the user’s voice during calls while minimizing ambient noise.
The sound quality of the AirPods Max 2 has been significantly improved. The headphones boast a new high dynamic range amplifier for cleaner sound, and Spatial Audio has been enhanced to provide better instrument localization, improved bass response, and more natural mids and highs.
