The best iPhone chargers

The best iPhone the charger depends on several factors. Do you recharge your battery on the go? Do you want to charge your iPhone as quickly as possible? Do you charge it overnight on your nightstand? The best speed recommendation will change with the situation. Luckily, the WIRED Reviews team field tests iPhone chargers all year round. Not a day goes by without at least one of us reviewing at least one iPhone charger. I’ve rounded up our favorite picks for each scenario.

Best wall charger for iPhone

Anker

Nano 45W with USB-C cable

This Anker charger is sleek and has foldable prongs, making it easy to carry, but the best part is that it can charge your phone at 40 watts (average is 20-27 watts). This means you can get up to 50% battery life in just 20 minutes. Not all iPhone models support charging this fast (it’s limited to the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max), but you can just as easily future-proof your gear if you buy a wall charger, even if your phone can’t take full advantage of those speeds yet.

Best Power Bank for iPhone

Small bright blue rounded rectangular device next to a black rectangular device, both with webbing handles.

We recommend the Anker Laptop Power Bank as our top choice power bank, but if you’re just trying to charge your iPhone, this is a very reliable and stylish power bank. It’s slim, smaller than a deck of cards, and can deliver 20 watts to two devices at once. Nimble also offers a slightly larger version, which has a higher capacity and can charge up to 65 watts. Besides its cool design with speckled colors and a cord loop, Nimble also uses bioplastics, recycled materials, and minimal packaging. A USB-C charger is included in the box.

Anker

MagGo Power Bank (10K) (Qi2)

This 10,000 mAh power bank can charge your device at up to 15 watts, but it will also charge older devices at a slower speed. It has a built-in kickstand and an LED display that lets you know at a glance how much power is left. It works in portrait or landscape mode. Be aware that it won’t be able to fully charge most phones more than once, but it’s hard to beat if you’re looking for wireless charging on the go. If you want larger capacity or faster charging, you don’t want MagSafe.

Belkin

3-in-1 Qi2 Charging Stand

The Belkin 3-in-1 can charge your compatible iPhone at 15 watts, as well as your AirPods and Apple Watch at the same time. The charger can be tilted to any angle you want, including landscape orientation if you want to watch a video or put your phone into sleep mode. The USB-C cable is permanently connected, which may or may not please you. Check out our buying guide to the best 3-in-1 chargers for additional choices.

Mophie

2 in 1 Wireless Charging Stand

I love 3-in-1 chargers as much as the next tech enthusiast, but sometimes they’re overkill. My Apple Watch’s battery usually lasts all day, but I can eat through my old AirPods battery before my lunch break, and my iPhone’s battery can also be drained, depending on whether or not I’m streaming Max Velocity on the side. This 2-in-1 charger is my trusty desk companion. Mophie offers another version that complements your Apple Watch and iPhone instead of your headphones, which might be what you want if you use wired headphones or use a treadmill extensively throughout the day. There is a 40 watt wall charger in the box – a rarity these days! – as well as a USB-C cable that wraps neatly into the base. It’s also easy to adjust the angle of your iPhone and I found the base to be very sturdy. If you want to charge, but not necessarily every possible device simultaneously, this might be what you’re looking for.

Anker

Primary USB-C to USB-C Cable

This nylon braided USB-C cable features a durable exterior made from recycled plastic. The cable is sturdy, with Anker promising it can work in temperatures ranging from minus 40 degrees to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. It is covered by a lifetime warranty. It has a built-in cable management loop. This is more than enough for your iPhone. Read our guide to the best USB-C cables for more choices.

Ugreen

USB-C to Lightning cable

If your iPhone still uses the Lightning cable, it will be much better than whatever low-quality cable Apple sent you. It’s durable and is Made for iPhone certified, so you won’t have any problems getting it to work. It is available in 3, 6 or 10 foot lengths with a two year warranty. Best of all, the outer casing will remain intact, unlike what you’d likely get with Apple cables.
