As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are actively seeking a Forward Deployed Senior Engineer to join our team, with the goal of reaching $10 million in revenue over the next year.
Role
CollectWise is on the lookout for a Forward Deployed Senior Engineer who will play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end customer implementations. This unique position sits at the intersection of engineering and operations, requiring the creation of integrations and technical systems that seamlessly bring customers into production.
The role demands a blend of software engineering expertise and hands-on client interaction. Success in this position hinges on your ability to navigate ambiguity, deliver quick results, and translate business requirements into robust, testable systems. As a highly visible and high-ownership role, you will work closely with the founders and clients, driving impactful change within the company.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain custom integrations with client systems.
- Configure and produce AI agents tailored for each client, involving prompts, workflows, and data transfers.
- Develop and implement customer solutions using modern back-end frameworks.
- Translate vague customer requirements into clear technical specifications and deliver solutions swiftly.
- Create internal tools to expedite and standardize implementations.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in technologies such as Node.js, React.js, AWS, SQL, and GPT-5 or other large language models.
- Prior experience in building products in a production environment, whether in your own startup, an early-stage startup, or through a meaningful project initiated from scratch.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills and a robust work ethic.
- Experience or a keen interest in the field of voice AI.
- Versatility across multiple disciplines is highly valued.
Compensation
- Competitive salary range from $240,000 to $300,000, contingent upon relevant experience and qualifications.
