Malaga-based Magnific launches €10 million fund to help creative teams turn AI experiments into production-ready campaigns

Magnific’s €10 Million Fund: Empowering Creative Teams with AI

Gorgeous, formerly known as Freepik, a renowned AI platform for creatives based in Malaga, has unveiled an innovative initiative known as the Magnific Fund. This €10 million scheme is designed to assist in-house marketing, advertising, and creative teams in their journey from AI experimentation to fully integrated, production-ready workflows for their campaigns.

While the primary focus of the fund is on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and creative teams within the European Union and the United Kingdom, organizations outside of Europe are also encouraged to apply, with assessments conducted on a case-by-case basis.

“Creative teams are under immense pressure to deliver more content, in more formats, for more markets, all without losing quality or brand control. The aim of this fund is to provide European and UK businesses with the tools, workflows and training they need to make AI a core part of their current production chain, rather than just a side experience,” expressed Jose Florido, CMDO from Magnific.

About Magnific

Founded in Malaga in 2010, Magnific has been at the forefront of developing AI-powered creative tools for professionals, studios, and brands. Its comprehensive AI suite integrates image generation, video creation, scaling, and a vast library of over 250 million graphics assets into a unified workspace. Having rebranded from Freepik to Magnific in April 2026, the company boasts an impressive annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding 200 million euros.

Program Benefits and Support

Businesses accepted into the program will enjoy substantial support during their first year to implement Magnific Business. Key benefits include a 30% discount on the Magnific Business plan for the first 12 months, applicable to monthly renewals for up to one year, and an additional 30% discount on extra credits during the same period.

Selected companies will gain exclusive access to the newly expanded training program, featuring the AI Marketing Playbook—a practical guide with real-world use cases and ready-to-use prompts—on-demand video series, monthly live webinars, and ongoing education support.

The program also offers a personalized welcome for teams of 30 or more, tailored to assist in setting up their brand kit, creating collaborative environments within Spaces, and executing their first campaign.

Real-world Workflows

Magnific’s initiative targets teams aiming to enhance campaign assets, product images, localized content, and social media formats without increasing production complexity. The training is built around six real-world workflows designed to address the volume, speed, and location demands of modern creative teams:

  • Packaging Ready Before the Product Exists: Generate numerous packaging variations before a physical sample is available.
  • One-click Multilingual Launches: Instantly adapt posters, banners, and out-of-home (OOH) advertising for multiple markets without relying on local agencies.
  • Product Photography Without Shooting: Create comprehensive catalogs and lifestyle photoshoots while maintaining a unique, predefined aesthetic.
  • Instant Animation of Brand Assets: Produce motion graphics, animated logos, and brand mascots directly from a text brief.
  • Turn One Creative Element into a Hundred: Generate all necessary formats, audience variations, and languages for a paid campaign in a single afternoon.
  • Produce a TV Commercial in a Week: Manage casting, wardrobe, storyboarding, footage, music, voiceover, and final 4K delivery using only internal team resources.

Clientele and Impact

Magnific supports over 1 million paid subscribers worldwide, ranging from independent creatives to major brands, agencies, and production studios. Its corporate clientele includes creative teams from notable organizations such as the BBC, Delivery Hero, Guess, Mayoral, Huel, R/GA, Damm, and Job&Talent.

The company reports that brands like Puma (for its Manchester City campaign, produced by The Berry), Alain Afflelou (produced by Xiaolongbao), and Carl’s Jr. (for its campaign featuring Paris Hilton, produced by Native Foreign) are already leveraging Magnific to automate and optimize their key creative processes.
