Windows 10 or later as well as at least 8GB RAM are necessary for PC users (though 16GB is recommended). Windows 10 ARM computers with a minimum of 8GB RAM & 4GB GPU memory are also available. Users on Macs will need macOS 10.14 (Mojave) or later, with macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or macOS 10.15 (Catalina) also in the recommendation. 8GB of RAM is necessary as a minimum, however, 16GB is recommended.

If you only require basic photo editing skills, Adobe offers Photoshop Express, a free app available on the Appstore, Google Play Store, and Microsoft Store. This implies that you can use this on your desktop or laptop computer.

All of Photoshop Express’s features are given here.

Except while using the red-eye removal and spot healing tools, you can’t alter specific areas of photos. There is no picture scaling or layer support but you can set the output resolution to the closest 200 pixels of width. Given that it’s free and requires only an Adobe identity to use, you might as well give it a go and see whether it meets your needs.

The Photoshop Camera app lets you apply all kinds of effects and filters right in the camera, effectively “Photoshoping” your image as you take it! It’s also completely free to use.
