Homedics Deep Sleep Mini: Perfect remedy to have a peaceful night!

Share

The easier a sleep aid is to use, the better for persons who are suffering from insomnia. A Homedics Deep Sleep Mini white noise machine checks all the boxes, providing soothing noises to help you drift off to sleep without the need for confusing instructions.

Even though the Deep Sleep Mini doesn’t appear to be overly complicated (in fact, it resembles a little smart speaker), it is well-designed and effective.

There are 3 noise tones (white, pink, and brown), as well as rain & storm nature sounds to choose from. There’s also a professional-created guided meditation program with relaxing sounds that help you clear your thoughts.

All of them are quite friendly and genuinely assisted us in getting a better night’s sleep. We also found that the white noise was loud enough to drown out a snoring spouse and that the rain option was soothing if we were awakened throughout the night. There’s also no need to be so up to switch the machine off because it’s equipped with an adjustable auto-timer.

Price and release date

In November of 2018, HoMedics released the Deep Sleep Mini. It cost $54.99 / £49.99 (roughly AU$75) and may be purchased directly from HoMedics or third-party retailers such as Amazon.

Design

A Homedics Deep Sleep Mini seems to be a compact, slim smart speaker that looks a lot like a Google Home Mini. Top the white plastic base with a grey cloth speaker and a charging outlet on the side. There is also includes a power adaptor for using it with a standard outlet.

It measures 11 x 11 x 5.5 cm and weighs 0.8 pounds (363 grams), making it a suitable travel size to carry with you but if you find it tough to switch off while on the go. Simply tuck it into your carry-on or overnight bag.

We can overlook the fact that it’s not the most appealing device to look at when there are no colors to match the bedroom. Because it’s so good at helping you fall asleep at night.

Homedics Deep Sleep Mini: Performance

This HoMedics Deep Sleep Mini is the epitome of simplicity. Nothing is more stressful than dealing with technology once you’re weary, as any insomniac can tell you, and HoMedics has designed a hardship noise machine that improves relaxation and, hopefully, lets you get a decent night’s rest.

Unlike many other sleep aids, it HoMedics Deep Sleep Mini does not require you to connect to a machine or app to enhance your sleeping habits. Because it has a range of settings, you can learn what works best for you with a little trial and error.

It contains a setting that lets you choose between white noise (that you’re undoubtedly familiar with), brown noise, and pink noise, for example (which you may not be). Pink noise mimics the sounds of constant rainfall or wind and is comparable to white noise but with lower upper frequencies.

Brown noise has an even lower frequency and resembles a fast-moving river. Relaxation enhanced focus, and, of course, better sleep are all benefits of all three types of noise, as we observed when testing the machine.

If you wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and have trouble falling back asleep, they can assist, and even at the bottom point, the white noise was loud enough to drown out a snoring spouse.

The natural environment, on the other hand, was our favorite program. The rain was very soothing when we were attempting to fall asleep.

Homedics Deep Sleep Mini: Timer

If you’re worried about leaving your HoMedics Deep Sleep Mini on any and all night. It has a timer that shuts it off after 30, 60, or 90 minutes. If you choose to leave this on all night. Its 12-hour battery capacity means you can leave it on till the morning.

The fact that it has volume and tone controls on the side is also a plus. However, the lowest level is still rather loud. We think it worked better when put in the middle of a room instead of directly next to each other on the bedside table. Although the user does not have a child, we believe it would be effective in soothing an infant.

Conclusion

One of its best sleep aids is the HoMedics Deep Sleep Mini. This is primarily due to the fact that it provides some basic but effective sleep assistance. By using a number of different noises & software to put you in a peaceful frame of mind. Its pricing is also very affordable, especially given the excellent sound quality.

It not only made falling asleep much easier than usual. But it also made waking up in the middle of the night & struggling the fall back asleep no longer an issue. Additional noises, including a snoring companion, barking dog, or traffic, drown out by the white noise. Make it nearly impossible for us to fall asleep again.

The fact that this works but is so inexpensive gives it a no-brainer in the market. When sleeping devices are on the increase. A good night’s sleep is invaluable, and the HoMedics Deep Sleep Mini comes highly recommended.
