The player and Kenny collaborate to leave Earth and warp their home to Blim City to avoid being in an alien’s prison or losing their lives.
When they locate Gene, they learn that he has degenerated into a crippled, homeless bum. As the Bounty Hunter, Gene assigns them the goal of locating his old knife, Knifey (Michael Cusack), from a G3 mercenary known as 9-Torg.
Gene gives them his old bounty hunter outfit and sets up a Bounty 5000 in the home. The player character must navigate the slums of Blim City to track down and assassinate 9-Torg in her hiding place inside the sewage plant. As they go through the game, the player runs into other members of 9-Torg’s gang and learns more about Kenny’s skills, such as the “glob shot” ability, which lets them blast globs of goo at objects and adversaries to solve puzzles and cause more damage.
The player may use other talking weapons, including Lezdoit, Creature, Sweezy, and Gus (voiced by J.B. Smoove, Betsy Sodaro, and Tim Robinson) (Mike Stoklasa). The player eventually locates 9-Torg and defeats her.
