As an Apple Music subscriber, you can enjoy unlimited high-quality music videos, ad-free, on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. Moreover, you can also browse through videos from your favourite artists, or just relax and enjoy the playlists created especially for you. But, just listening to your favourite songs might not be enough. You can enjoy music videos with your best noise-cancelling headphones and level up your experience of Apple Music. Here’s how to watch music videos on Apple Music on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
You can find your favourite videos on Apple Music‘s Music Video page. Moreover, you can also watch the curated video playlists according to your music taste.
When you are sure about what you want to watch, you can easily find any music video available on Apple Music with a quick search.
However, if you don’t find an artist or song you search for, unfortunately it’s not available in Apple Music.
You can not only watch these videos but also add them to your Apple Music library and easily find and watch them any time.
The music video will now be listed in your Library where you can stream it. Although, you can download music videos for offline viewing only onto your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and not on Apple TV.
You can download a music video from your library or a music video you’ve just found in Apple Music. By downloading it to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac you can watch offline. You can create your perfect playlist and watch them all anywhere anytime.
The music video will download onto your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Before downloading the videos, check how much storage space you have on your devices. You will need at least 50-100MB of space for music videos.
Your library can consist of music you ripped from your personal CD collection, music bought on iTunes, or added from Apple Music. Although, if the song is from Apple Music, it doesn’t belong to you, you are just “borrowing it” with your subscription. When you want to find your music videos, you may have to filter iTunes or your Music app in order to see them.
If you don’t see Music Videos, you may have to add them. To do so on your iPhone and iPad, tap Edit in the upper right corner of your Library. And, then tap Music Videos to add it to the list.
You can create the perfect music video playlist for yourself with your favourite artists and thier albums.
To share a video on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, you can directly share a link to a music video on Twitter, Facebook, Messages, or any other platform you want.
For Mac, you can share the video by copying the link or share it directly on Twitter and Facebook. Whereas you can share the music videos on different platforms from your iPhone and iPad. This includes Facebook and Twitter, and other cloud-based storage services, like Pinterest, chat apps, note-taking apps, and more.
To control playback on a music video in Apple Music is almost the same as for any video. All you need to do is, tap or click on Play, pause, fast forward, and rewind. Although, you can also control video playback in a few additional fun ways.
With Siri life gets easier. All you need to do is tell her what you need and she knows how to do everything on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. You can ask it to skip ahead, rewind, pause, and play a music video and voilà.
Although, asking Siri to start playing a music video is a bit tricky. Sometimes, it plays an audio track instead, but sometimes it understands and plays the video you asked for. All playback commands after the video starts work perfectly, though.
You can also control video playback with your AirPods in the same way they would if you were listening to music. Everything depends on what you have assigned to your double-tap for the left and right ear. With this you can pause/play, skip to the next music video, play the previous music video, or double-tap to ask Siri to make your request.
You can simply ask Siri on your HomePod hooked up to your Apple TV, to start playing a music video, pause, play, skip ahead, rewind, and more. Thus you can watch music videos on Apple Music and relax.
If you thought that Apple Music is only for listening to music, then you need to check out the music video section of your favourite music. As a subscriber, you get an option to watch videos on Apple Music. You can create your own playlist and listen to it or enjoy the specially created playlists by Apple Music according to your tastes. Moreover, you can download these videos on your device easily and enjoy them anywhere anytime. Also, you can control video playback with Siri or even your AirPods.
