PDFZILLA Review: A preferable PDF editor to convert to any format!

Share

PDFZilla is an excellent choice for a PDF editor and converter, and it comes at a fair price. It only takes a few minutes to get used to how it works, and it comes with a lot of functions straight out of the box. PDFZilla attempts to address a major issue that many users face while working with PDF files: What can you do if you wish to alter the text by exporting it to a Word Document? It only succeeds in part, and depending on your requirements, it may not be suitable for you.

One of the most difficult aspects of copying and pasting text from a PDF file into Word is that you’ll wind up with paragraph returns at the end of every line in the PDF if you do it manually. This means that paragraph returns will appear in the middle of sentences in your Word document. After that, you’ll have to manually remove the paragraph returns. Even while this flaw isn’t special to PDFZilla, it’s still a drawback. PDFZilla didn’t address the problem in many cases, and depending on the layout of the PDF, paragraph returns were still in the middle of lines of text. This is especially true in PDFs with complicated layouts, such as multi-column layouts.
PDFZilla, on the other side, performed a good job at preserving the original PDF’s layouts and including visuals. It also didn’t put paragraph returns in the middle of paragraphs on PDFs that didn’t have complex, multi-column layouts. However, in other cases, text was jumbled together during the conversion from PDF to.doc files. Lets look some of its features.

Overview of features

  • PDF Document can be converted into any popular file format.
    • Convert PDF documents to HTML or SWF format.
    • Merge, Split and Rotate PDF documents.
    • Lightweight software package at a very low price

HIGHLIGHTS:
Small Package:- Not at all burdensome on the capabilities of your Computer. It’s low enough to be downloaded on a flash drive.
Easy to Use:- Simple interface and layout. You don’t need to go through a whole lot of buttons to get the job done.
Good Bonus Features:- PDFZilla excels at merging, separating, and rotating PDF files.
Includes OCR:- Even though it’s not the best, it does have the capability.

User interface

With its early Windows XP appearance and feel, PDFZIlla is a fish out of the sea. To be sure, it’s a nostalgic experience, but for most modern organisations, those memories are best left in the past. On some monitors, PDFZilla appears as a little window in the centre of the screen at starting, taking up less than a fourth of the available screen space.
Even if you click on the open windows behind it, it always tries to be on top of everything unless it is minimized. After a few days, we became used to it, although it’s still unpleasant at times. The buttons themselves are reasonably well-organized and responsive.

Document customizability

PDFZilla’s major focus is PDF conversion, thus it’s natural that it has a dearth of document customization possibilities. It has the least influence of all the software on our list and is ranked last. The three points it does receive are about the three alternatives available: Split, Merge, and Rotate. You can remove or split specific pages of a Pdf file using Split or PDF Cutter. The offered options are diverse and comparable to the top software on our list. PDFZilla’s Merge or PDF Merger feature is quite basic, allowing you to merely add before or after the base PDF document.
If you want to be more creative, you can use the Split>Merge>Merge approach to add pages between them. PDFZilla’s PDF Rotator is also quite comprehensive, offering us more than usual options for rotating our PDF documents.

Security

There are no security options in the PDFZilla software bundle. Cogniview PDF2XL, another specialist PDF converter on our list, is similar. While document security isn’t a concern for individuals, small businesses, or when dealing with documents that don’t contain sensitive information, it is a must-have for any modern workplace. However, there is a workaround: If you’re in a pinch, you can always rely on SmallPDF’s free online security features.

Online Support

PDFZilla is at the bottom of our ranking once more. But it wasn’t for lack of trying. To be honest, the software does not necessitate much assistance. The majority of the issues we’ve encountered can be classified as the quality of life issues. The restricted capability of PDFZilla is a key part of why it’s so simple and easy to use that it doesn’t need any online help. At least, that’s what we’ve found. However, it does provide support in the form of written technical instructions with screenshots and frequently asked questions.

File Conversion

The PDFZilla programme is far handier than the classic movie monster. With PDFZilla, you can convert a PDF document to Word in just three mouse clicks! The application translates both text and images while maintaining the content of the PDF files. You may convert the full PDF or just selected pages, as well as batch convert multiple files, which is useful when working with a huge book or file archives. PDFZilla can convert Pdf documents to DOC, RTF, TXT, BMP, JPG, GIF, TIF, HTML, and SWF files in addition to Word. Finally, the programme offers a highly user-friendly design that will take a few minutes to get used to.

Conclusion

The bulk of PDF to Excel conversion programs are now only available in English, which is troublesome if you own or work for a multinational corporation. Are you looking for a linguistic solution? Then there’s PDFZilla. Not only is this program a fantastic converter in and of itself, but it also supports over 20 languages, such as German, French, Italian, and Spanish. The software is also quick and simple to use, offering you the paltform to convert PDFs in just three clicks.

Within one platform, you may convert PDF documents to any possible document.  A batch conversion mode is also available for dealing with many documents that are (up to 1,000 files) at once.
It isn’t an all-in-one PDF driver for the office, but it has enough functions to be considered a good starting point for a PDF converter. It also doesn’t hurt that it comes with a slew of other useful tools that are on par with the finest on our list.

If you’re seeking a specific collection of tools but don’t want to spend a lot of money, PDFZilla can be the right bundle for you.
