Purchase its Certified Refurbished Products
Compare prices with authorized resellers because Apple’s Refurbished Store is selling the latest generation devices for hundreds of dollars below their retail price; typically 15-20percent off. All of the products in this store have been refurbished by Apple, have fresh batteries, have been fully restored to default settings, and are assured to look brand new.
Most importantly, these products are covered by Apple’s standard one-year AppleCare warranty, which can be extended with AppleCare+. This indicates that all products are covered in the same way that a new Apple product is, including any manufacturer defects.
The only significant distinction between a Certified Refurbished and a new Apple product is the packaging. A refurbished unit is packaged in a plain white box labeled “Certified Refurbished.” Aside from that, you’re getting a nearly new device for a low price.
