Even though the Tile Sticker (2022) is nearly identical to its original. You’d be hard-pressed to identify this version of Tile’s tiny key tracker. The first Tile Sticker, which was published two years previously, was an interesting thought with poor execution and an uneven range.

Tile has improved a lot since then. The new Tile Sticker keeps the small style of its predecessor while improving performance. This is still a key finder with a really specific purpose. A Tile tracker that can stick to surfaces rather than attach to a key ring, like the Tile Pro or Tile Mate.

But it’s one we can suggest more gladly to people looking for something to attach to luggage, laptops, and other flat surfaces. This is definitely one of the greatest key finders.

The Tile Sticker is a little waterproof tracker with an adhesive back that can be applied to anything. It is also Tile’s smallest tracker in the lineup. 3M is believed to supply the glue. The Tile Sticker has a battery life of around three years and a range of about 46 meters.

The Tile Sticker costs $30, which places it between the $25 Tile Mate and Tile’s two $35 trackers. The Tile Pro and Tile Slim, in the company’s key finder portfolio.

The Apple AirTag costs the same as the Tile Sticker, except it lacks the Sticker’s sticky back. Of course, the Tile Sticker only links to your phone via Bluetooth. However, trackers such as the AirTag and Samsung’s SmartTag Plus employ Ultra Wideband to provide more exact position information for your valuables.

Design of Tile Sticker

A Tile Sticker (2022) has the same circular form as its predecessor, but it is somewhat higher – 0.31 inches against 0.28 inches. That appears to increase a problem that was noticed with the original sticker: because it’s meant to attach to slick surfaces. It can interfere with the elegant designs of gadgets like laptops and tablets.  A tile Sticker can be stuck on the passport, for example, and it looks like You added a small knob to the cover.

It has chosen a more stylized design this time around in order to combine the look of all of its key finders. A Tile logo remains in the Sticker’s center, but the button for enabling the tracker’s extremely useful two-way locating feature for raising an alert to locate your missing phone has been removed. There’s now a button on the side for that, which simplifies the appearance of the Sticker, even though the button is a little difficult to depress.

Moreover, at the same time, the tracker’s glue is expected to endure.  It requires real effort to pull off, which you don’t want to do because it will reduce the sticky hold. The Tile Sticker’s small size also means it lacks a feature available on others in the current lineup. There is no QR code marked on the gadget that others may scan to help you in locating your misplaced item. Instead, you’re at the risk of Tile’s previous method. It allows other nearby Tile users to identify a lost Tile tracker and transmit its last known location to you.

The Sticker’s speaker has a maximum output of 114dB, and once you’re more than just a few inches away, it drops to around 85dB. which is still loud enough just to hear in most environments.

The Tile Pro still has the loudest alarm in the Tile series. But the alert on this year’s Sticker is audible from 120 feet away. That’s pretty similar to the Tile Mate’s speed.

It provides further features such as alerts when you leave your house without whatever object is stuck to it, as well as the opportunity to share your Tile with an infinite number of people. Still, it has been found that Tile Premium is so necessary that it’s a must-have. But it is the best fit for Tile Premium’s smart alerts function of all the Tile key finders.
