All I phone batteries are lithium ion that would be the battery in your i phone 7 apple has a article on charging the battery and battery maintenance if you look after the battery in your i phone it will last you five years.
I can not agree more. Make sure to charge around 80% and make sure to have atleast full dry cycle every month or week
